Welcome

Welcome to FolkLaw! Exhilarating new-age folk music that will get your feet tapping and your mind thinking! Inspired by 10 years on the road in Europe and North America, FolkLaws songs are a raw social commentary driven by the chaos of the lives we all lead. Inspirational songs and melodies cover subjects from politics and the environment, to relationships and love. Edgy lyrics and vocals are accompanied by intricate Irish and American fiddle and interwoven with wonderfully distinctive vocal harmonies and the bodhran drum. In the words of one of the UKs top folk-clubs "Simply magical"!

Music

The debut FolkLaw album is out now! Nation's Pride is a collection of the very best FolkLaw songs and fiddle accompanied by some brilliant backing from the legendary vocalist and percussionist Gaz Hunt.
Some real FolkLaw favorites appear on this CD including Over a Line, Green Valleys, Summer Sun and of course Nations Pride. There's also some classic irish fiddle, and the old ivories make a rare appearance on Ramshackle Road.

The album's on sale at gigs for £10 and half of the proceeds are going to charity! You can choose where your fiver goes - Shelter, The Fair Trade Foundation, The Samaritans or the Poppy Appeal.
