"My Dreams" - Lyrics and Music
About the songFor two years all I had in this song was the lyrics, melody and chords for first two lines - "When I close my eyes and sleep, I see your face in my dreams". It sounded great. Maybe even perfect. I would play it over and over, but couldn't get anything further that would match up to the quality of the first line. Then two years later the whole of the rest of the song came together over a weekend. There's not much more to say, except that it sounds simple but was one of the hardest on the album. |
